Dissolution by C J Sansom

Just finished this - it's set in the C16th at the time of the dissolution of the monasteries - it's a murder mystery if you like that sort of thing Very Happy . I'm reading the next one - Dark Fire - now Cool His most recent one - Sovereign is half price in Tescos Wink
terri

S'ok Terri - I bought a copy of Sovereign last week thanks Rolling Eyes Laughing Got the other 2 out the library tho. I think they're still in print tho - I don't think it matters THAT much but I like to read them in the right order myself but each one is a standalone thing. But you do see the main character develop as it goes along.

I think I've got that, somewhere in my library! I will look it out Smile

I read Sovereign a few weeks ago (got it in Waitrose), I didn't realise there had been earlier books about the same character. It was a very good read and much more informative about the period than my A level history! I will derfinitely go and get the first two books now.
