Debbie Bliss RialtoThis is gorgeous!! I have some in the DK but am expecting a sample soon in the aran. It is very very soft and springy pure merino - very like the Sublime Extra Fine Merino but maybe nicer I think. Definitely would recommend you try - the pattern book didn't appeal at first - think it's the skinny model - but does grow on you Think it retails at £3.95 and is standard dk.

I managed to sneak a squidge of the Rialto DK when I was at the crochet course in Stockport a few months ago.... it was super doops. So I'd expect the aran to be just as squidgy and soft
Will you let us know how it stands up to the Pictish Squidge Test later, when it arrives?

I had a squidge of Rialto in Sheepish, with a view to knitting Sophia from the Rialto book http://www.kangaroo.uk.com/catalo...?pId=971&tId=18&stId=1369
Sadly none of the colours they had in stock were 'me', so I bought some Sublime extra fine merino instead.

I love Sophia! Have you seen the back of it?

I knitted the men's cardy with this out of the Rialto DK book and it's lovely. My only complaint is that it had too many knots in each ball, thus multiplying the number of ends I had to do in.
