Caspian Sea socksThese are my new addiction. I've done little else since I cast them on They are quite slow progress what with all that changing colour. And the turkish cast on took a couple of goes to get right. But they're coming along nicely

Thank you all for your lovely comments
The increase rows were tortuous - think that was because I was getting used to stranding the yarns and getting to grips with the pattern. Plus the infernal left slanting increase - which I don't think I've quite got. But now I've got the grip of the sole pattern (no gold) I've got the flow of that. And the halves of the sole and the top are mirror images which makes it easier.
I did have a go at holding the yarn in both hands - and managed one round - think I need to practise that a bit more

The stranding of the yarn makes them really thick and squidgy - they are very strokeable

They look fabulous! They're in my queue too, but I need to be "in the mood" Keep persevering with the 2 handed.... I used it on sis's mitts last Christmas and once I got the hang it was fab, and so much quicker. Would need to learn all over again now though !

I think they are wonderful. I'd like to stroke hem and just covet them. Well done or trying something so complex. Colourwork scares me to death.
