Can I save a pic from You Tube?No doubt a complete numpty question but can I save a still picture from a You Tube tv clip to post on my blog? I really have no idea how this sort of thing works re technicalities, copyright etc! I have tried 'right click' but none of the options seem to apply!

I don't know if there is an official way, but you could do a screen shot (prnt Scrn button on your PC keyboard copies the current screen to the clipboard as though you had copied it) and then paste it into Paint or other image manipulation program. Crop the part you want out of the screen shot and save it as a .jpg file ready to upload to your blog.

Thanks Jacquie. I'm afraid I can't get 'Print Scrn' to do anything though!  Not to worry, I shall try and find the pic I wanted somewhere else

Prnt Scrn doesn't seem to do anything but if you do a paste straight afterwards you should find it had copied the screen into the clipboard.
If you are using a Mac however screen shots are done completely differently.

I'm sorry Jacquie but I must protest at your use of words with more than one syllable!  However, whilst trying and failing to do the above, I noticed that I have a 'send to blog' option  which may work!
