Boy's jumper patterns

Can anyone point me in the direction of nice jumper patterns suitable for my 7 year ds.There seems to be very little choice for boys in this age group, i have made him a hoodie from a Sirdar click pattern and he lives in it!As he is very skinny, i would prefer either aran or chunky weight.

Any suggestions please Very Happy

I have a few older Sirdar aran and chunky booklets that I'm currently 'queuing' to make my 6 year old and 9 year old something from but I agree that there's very little choice out there for young lads Sad

There are plenty of patterns for girls and babies but the young lads have very few patterns Sad

THe Sublime booklets do have a couple of lads' patterns though Wink

There are a few nice ones in Rowan Junior, you might be able to get a copy from your library

Didn't Patons or Sirdar bring a pattern book recently called something like Easy family patterns or something.

It when from chhildrens to adults.

Oooh I'd forgotten about that one!!

I asked the boys to choose a pattern for me to knit up the Spree chunky I bought for them last year Rolling Eyes

and showed Danny the first lot of patterns then called Matthew to choose one for himself.

It was no contest really as when Danny went back to play with Matt I heard him whisper just as I called Matthew
"She's going to show you some patterns for jumpers Matt, but make sure you choose the hoodie!!

And guess which pattern Matt chose?? Laughing
