Bobbing Along!I have cast on for Bob tonight using Rowan All Seasons Cotton in Tope
I'm happy to go alone, but Murdo has yarn all ready and if you'd like to join in please do. I'm all ready to do a "Jobo Join" at the appropriate moment and I'm on Denises and using Blossom's beautiful stitchmarkers.
So if you'd care to "Bob-a-Long" with me please feel free to do so

Think I've got too much on the go for this one but will watch with interest as I do have the yarn in my stash if I ever find the time I remember Jeanette doing a lovely cream one of these.

Jeanette's was lovely wasn't it, and one of the reasons I'm knitting this if I'm honest.

That's going to look lovely on you Joy! I don't think it would suit me though!! Glad you like the stitchmarkers!

Can anyone tell me how a girl can take her mind off 10 hanks of Cadenza and the Cadenza book. It all actually went into a virtual shopping basket last night but was deleted at the crucial moment
Joy - best of luck with Bob, really look forward to seeing it in progress - that pattern will really suit you I think

ah well it had to be done - I have just sat and frogged 3 balls of ASC because I could SEE where I had joined my yarn in the round and so have decided to knit a front and a back!
I had had 7 knots in those 3 balls so that was 7 joins and I just didn't like them!

What a pain Joy - and all those knots - how annoying!!
I have never tried that join in the round, probably because I have never knitted anything in the round apart from socks.
A front and a back will make it better for you I hope. Do let us know how you get on

What a pain I really hope it works out better this time Joy.

It WAS a pain but it'll be the better for it. I'd never have been happy with it as it was that's for sure!

What a shame Joy...I would have had to throw it in the naughty corner for a while to think about what it had done!! Hope it works out better for you with a front and back!

aw Joy, that's pants but like you said worth it if you know it's going to bug and be a waste of yarn, time and effort.
I hope you get on with back and front and personally i'd prefer it like that too.

It may well have been a bad batch, or maybe I'm just unlucky, anyway it was half price in The Knit Tin's closing sale so it was still a bargain! And of course there's no way of knowing what the inside of a ball's like, so hey-ho!
I do LIKE ASC though - it's lovely to knit with.
