Bloke Sweater Progress

Here's my progress so far. I finished the front and back. Here's a piccie of the front:

And here's where I am for the sleeve. I do hate increasing in rib pattern. Ugh.

And of course, since I'm starting a new year and have to go back to school next week, I need something smallish for train knitting. So here's a sock that I started:

As soon as I took out the camera, both girls wanted in the mix. So here are obligatory pooch piccies. First is Kiki, jewels around her neck and all. Of course, I don't know what that black goop is from her eye.

And then there's Miss Sadie, sweet as pie.

Well, I'm off to go fold laundry and then run the sweeper and maybe knit a few rows before Mr. Yank returns from class.

TA!

Looking good...but ooh all that rib and I hate increasing in rib too!! Love those plastic nipples tassels on the fronts...is that to give it a bit more interest??! Wink Laughing

I was wondering if I should mention those or not. Well since the wonderous Jaeger pattern that I'm using says to measure the arm holes from the beginning of the arm hole shaping, I flag that row with a marker so that I know where to measure.

I wonder if he wants the "tassels" left on......bawahahahahahahaha

Lovely!!! Jon have you seen Tiennie's Fog Sweater pattern? It looks fantastic on her DH and it's a free pattern. I know you say that it's hard to get new mens patterns Smile

Lovely neat knitting Jon, and I think the sock yarn is a super colour mix.

The doggies are gorgeous, I've not been introduced though Smile What are their names?

All very smart and neat - that's going to be a lovely jumper  Cool I think you could just put a couple of 'boobles' where those markers are - that would do the trick Laughing  Laughing
