BFL HumbugI got this lovely, natural colour BFL Humbug from PM Woolcraft a month or two ago. It's been a dream to spin. And it's probably the first natural coloured fibre I've spun so far. I've still got some too spin but the first two bobbins are plyed.
Here's the original fibre, pic is a bit on the dark side
Singles on the bobbin
Plyed but not finshed yet
It's roughly 4ply thickness ish (I htink). I'm not going to soak it andset the twist until I've spun the rest of it.

knitty, witty, woo

That looks lovely.
I'm spinning some BFL at the moment that I dyed as roving.
I love it, it just seems to spin itself.

Oh that IS nice! You do so well with your spinning.
I was in awe of the spinners that I saw last week at the sampling workshop, and the fibre was so wonderful...if only I had a bit more time!

That's lovely....reminds me of the Twilleys Freedom Spirit I knit my cardi in! When I first read the title of the post I thought it said BAH Humbug...I really need to get my eyes tested again!

I thought about naming it BaH humbug actually.
And thank you everyone. I'd planned to spin some more last night but didnt' quite get to it.
