Barbara ErskineAnybody else a fan of her books? I picked one up as part of a 3 for 2 offer and couldn't put it down. I then picked up a couple more in a booksale and I'm hooked
She writes books that are a mixture of the supernatural and history (according to the reviewers on the back), basically there are two storylines running that overlap. One is set in modern times, one in the past and yes, I suppose elements of the supernatural do creep in.
They're very readable and I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for the rest of her titles at booksales/the library.

I love her books!!!!! I think I've read them all, the short stories are not quite so good as the novels though The most recent one "daugthers of fire", I listened to on audio book rather than reading, and that was really good too
Which one did you read anna??

Read them all too! Also agree with Terri about the short stories!
I've just finished Labyrinth by Kate Mosse - very similar style, but just as enjoyable.

I started with "Daughters of Fire" and I'm now on "Whispers in the Sand" (is that right? I'm upstairs and the book's downstairs, so I can't check!).
I shall gradually work my way through the rest as I come across them.
