April yarn Forward

I've just been to the shops and got a copy of April's YF  Shocked  Laughing

It's another nice issue, with a pattern and a piece written by Anni.
Well done Anni Smile

Oooh might look for one tomorrow if I'm out. I think I prefer it to The Knitter.

Really good issue this time, I think  Very Happy Anni's shawl/stole is really gorgeous, and there are some good articles as always.

I get this as a sub as its not always in the shops up here.

I got some varigated cotton DK from Lidl this week and am now wondering whether to use it to make the top on the front cover.I am also thinking of making the mans cabled sweater for my DH but have no chunky in stash.

I've just realised that this issue was £4.49.
Because I was paying for some other bits at the same time I hadn't noticed the price rise until now.

I love Anni's Shawl, and her article.

Way to go Anni.

Well, what do you know! I've just looked at my receipt from WH Smith, where I got my
YF, and they only charged £3.99, even though the cover price is 50p more expensive.
