Anyone else doing Mystic Light KAL?I'm still working on my Mystic Waters, but joined this anyway. I have never knitted a fingering weight shawl and the previous KAL pattern was wonderful.The webpage is here If you want to sign up, do it quickly, because swatch will be available on Thursday and I think sign ups will close soon after that. |

That's odd, I tried to go there and everything was ok. I looked at the yahoogroups page and it says sign ups are open till March 25th. A lot longer than I thought.
N is going to custom dye some lovely merino for me

I've got 4 skeins of a BEAUTIFUL Posh Yarns Sophia which I bought from Anni when she was having a destash. I should have about 100m left over so might be able to get a short pair of toe up socks out of the leftovers. | ||

Very tempting but since I never got around to finishing the MS3 last summer I'm staying away from Lace Kals right now. About to start a new shawl design myself and got lots to finish so got to resist joining this one. Looking forward to seeing everyone elses though.

I printed it off & then wondered what I'd signed up too! I've only ever made lace socks before & think I might be over my head
I nearly finished my swatch but then the puppy needed to go out & I never got back to it. However I'm happy with it
I'm using Jitterbug in Velvet Plum that I got from CJ in a swap. I'm finding that the Yahoo Group has a bit too much traffic for me so would rather ask for help on here if others can help. |

I haven't even swatched lol...yours looks fab blue. I really want to use up some of lace weight and was toying with the idea of using it double. I ought to swatch I suppose.
Dunno when i'll actually be casting on (I don't think this looks as complicated as ms3) |

I'm hoping to cast on tomorrow but I don't know how much I'll get done. Oscar (pup) finds my knitting highly amusing & loves to grab it & run off at high speed  Not very good for lace knitting methinks

Bad habits are hard to break though. He'd be a nightmare then. I used to have a basket in the living room with a couple of WIP's & spare yarn in. It's now upstairs under the bed safe from sharp needley teeth. A couple of nights ago I saw something on the black of his nose & when I took it off realised that it was a tiny tooth The combination of puppy antics, teething & lots of energy (as he can sleep whilst I'm at work) = BOUNCE!
