Am I going crazy...has that "Username" box always been above the quick reply box or has it just appeared?
I haven't changed anything I swear!

No it appeared this morning Jacquie - about the same time as the little orange flags for new posts disappeared!!!!!!

It seems our hosts are making some improvements to speed up forum access, so we may see some odd things happening now and again.
I am sure it will be worth it in the end

nope i've looked abd I definately haven't got one honest...I always use quick reply and nothings changed for me.

It has gone now and the orange boxes are back.
Martin (our host) went as far as to tell me he loved me for pointing out the username box as it was the key to why the orange flags were missing and he's been able to fix it.
Sometimes computer bugs do very odd things in apparently unrelated areas!

I spotted the username box as well this afternoon. and the orange bit from posts unviewed. It's all gone now though.

It was only happening on certain templates so maybe you are using the narrower template and didn't happen on that one?

can I just say here that I have totally posted in the wrong section 
could my 'tampon' post please be moved to plastic bag thread or else deleted....I do demented quite well on own without any help from rogue posts

I can't move posts to another thread so could you copy and paste your post into a new post in the right thread and then I will delete it here.

i've copied and amended ....this is the first time I have ever done this but alas I feel it won't be last...I've had a strange day today and I feel old....I also can longer eat scotch eggs but that's another story....
