I am auctioning my March sock yarn challenge prize for race for life.... but the winning bid can go to ANYONE from the forum who is participating in the race.  So please put a link here to your JustGiving Page... and if you want to try some sales speech as to why you should be chosen then go for your life!!!!!

Here is mine http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/auntienoo   and I should be sponsored because I was brave enough to put that photo on a public web page!!!  Smile

My race for life page is here

http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/cathiechant

Can't think of a sales pitch though, I just want to raise money for cancer research and give something back.

here's my page too

http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/carolhenderson

Please sponsor me to keep my sanity whilst my father in law's battling with a brain tumour.

Like Noo I'd like to do it in less than 30 mins so I need all the encouragement I can get.
Thanks

I am oldish, fat, have had a broken back, hip, pelvis, and shattered knee -so therefore agreeing to do this race for life is a huge commitment from my body - now if you are not in tears with my sheer determination - then you are a hard hard person Wink

Please wish me luck I need every gram I can get   Laughing   Laughing

This is my RFL link - I suspect it is too late to add it but never mind.

http://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/joyedwards

I intend to walk the race in under an hour. This would be a real achievement for someone with a dropped foot and dodgy hip. I am making no attempts to run the race - it would be foolish - but I am walking every day in an attempt to become a little stronger.

Whoever you sponsor Noo is right - Cancer Research UK is the winner. But thank you for bidding in the auction and thank you Noo.

Thank you Jacky - how diplomatic was that!!!

I ran 25 mins this morning so I hope I will make it worth your while. (when I say run that might be a tad of an exaggeration but it was more bumpy than walking!)

You are all most welcome   Very Happy

I was wondering if we could have a thread/diary which tells us what day everybody is running and also being very lazy we can all just say good luck / well done once   Rolling Eyes    Laughing

We can then all fill in our times.  Mine will be some thing like 364 days and 50 minutes   Shocked

Training - what training - not sure what the word even means   Wink
