|
|
I would like to offer my March sock yarn challenge prize for auction (because I feel bad winning when it's the first pair of socks I've made since this time last year!!! ) The prize is the choice of anything n has in stock at the Yarn Yard (I'm assuming that's 100g but perhaps n could clarify) and the only proviso is that it's best if you don't choose in the middle of a shop update because it's too difficult to take it out of stock before someone else buys it in the stampede!!! - Hope I've got that right!!
So... this is the deal..........
The winning bidder will sponsor ANY forum participant of the race for life to the amount of the bid. There are a fair few of us doing it this year so you can choose who you are most moved to support. Cancer Research will be the winner whoever gets chosen!!!!!
So the auction is 2-fold. Bids for the prize..... to go in this thread, then I will start another thread for everyone (and I mean EVERYONE!!!!!) who has entered raceforlife to put a link to their justgiving sponsor page (and you can try to attract the winning bidder if you want to by saying why you deserve it!)
I think the auction will close at 8pm on Friday 4th April (I just need to check with n to make sure that's ok) So I'll confirm that as soon as I can!
Starting bid from me is £2 'cos that is the minimum justgiving will allow!!!!

Well GrannySmith's sneaking worked a treat - it's all yours lovely lady for £15. Now you just have to choose your recipient - and I really don't envy you that one!
If you could liaise with n re your prize...... the only proviso was not during a shop update!!!!
Thanks everyone, that was great fun!
xx
