Can't see that anyone else has posted about this.

Went to see it last night - and it was fab.  I came out all over excited and giggly  Embarassed   Not sure whether that was Pierce Brosnan or Colin Firth  Embarassed

Very funny, harmless story, great singalong songs.  I was horrified at how many of the songs I knew all the words to, not counting myself as an Abba fan.

Definitely a girls night out - and when the dvd comes out it'll be a girls night in for some proper singing and dancing Laughing

This is on my 'oh gawd, NOoooooooo' list, I come from a rare breed of can't stand Abba songs  Shocked  My mum went to see it last week, she said the music was great, (I don't take after her then) and thankfully once the music gets up you can't hear Meryl Streep and that Pierce Brosnan is wooden  Confused  My mum went with a frind who is in her 80s and had already seen it 3X and apparently my ex-SIL has seen it twice, so far.

Each to their own  Wink

Peter and I went to see the stage show two years ago for our Silver Wedding and we had a wonderful evening. I am so looking forward to the film. And I'm not ashamed to say that I love ABBA Very Happy

I went with a friend on Tuesday night and I can (as a non ABBA fan) say it was the best night out I'd had in many a year.  The atmosphere in the cinema was just like a stage show and if I have half of Meryl Streeps enthusiasm for life when I'm her age then I'll be well pleased.
I put a forward order in for it with Play.com when I got home!!
