I've got several favorites this year.
The 'Celtic Knot' Scarf (Handmaide Silk Lace) - there will be a shawl version in the new year sometime.
I put hte scarf somewhere safe a few weks ago and I can't find it.
Also very proud of my Kaleidoscope socks (Jaeger Merino 4ply):
Really love this shawl (my own Merino Lace) , which isn't finished yet, alhtough I've been working on it for months and I've only got a tiny bit and the border to go
The Victoria Shawl (Eva 2ply from Posh) from VLT for my Mum. First time I did a knitted on border.
Also very, very proud of having my pattern published for the first time in MagKnits February 07 issue (Falling in Love socks) and my upcoming patterns in Yarn Forward (next issue and Spring 0 .
Also really thrilled I took the plunge and started dyeingyarn. Had been dreaming about it for so long and tomorrow it's 6 months since I started the ETsy shop. I've learnt so much in the last 6 months and my yarn dyeing skills have improved tremendously. Thank you to everyone who's bought my yarns.
Also really thrilled with hte growth and success of Sockamania. We have around 350 members now. which considering I thoght I'd be lucky to get 20 when Istarted it in April/May and was over the moon when Ireached 50 members.
Just want to add, thank you to everyone who's supported and encouraged me. A couple of years ago I didn't even know I could design anything especially socks. 18 months ago I still thought socks were boring and why would anyone want to knit them. I taught myself to knit lace and cables in 2006 with the help of online video demos and a lot of help from onlien knitting friends.

| You have some lovely stuff there, I remember when you started knitting socks too, and I knitted the falling in love socks this year as my first toe up socks, they will be in my favourites when I get round to doing it |

Thank you everyone. I knitted several pairs of socks as a teenager as thick woolly socks in Norway is a necessity in the winter and my Mum didn't like knitting them so made me do my own when Iwas good enough .But 18 months ago I really didn't understand the fascination of socks. Thought they were boring. Think I've had at least one pair, usually more, on the needles continously since. It's funny how we change.
Spinning was anohter thing I didnt quite see the point of and now I'm hooked on that too.
