I'm really enjoying sock knitting at the moment so cast on straight away for a second pair this month using a beautiful skein from the Yarn Yard bought a while ago. I'm sure the colour was called Giggle hence my sock project name. I saw this free pattern on Ravelry and queued it immediately but it had the unimaginative name of Green Marino Socks another reason for calling them Giggle! I loved the Latvian Twist Edge too, prettier and easier than a picot edge although it was a weird feeling intentionally twisting my cast on, something I can do easily enough without even thinking at times Wink
The cuff isn't a very long one either so these should be quite a quick pair of socks.....well that is if I don't find something else to lead me astray  Rolling Eyes

Love the sock pattern and the yarn. Especially like the twist cast on. Was that part of the sock pattern? Will have to look into that. Very nice. Very Happy

Thanks! I'm nearly done with sock 1 now, just the toe to do later this evening. Yes Anni, the Latvian Twist is part of the pattern along with the twisted rib cuff. I've kept the same as the original all the way to the gusset shaping, where I decided to maintain the pattern on the top but do a stocking stitch sole. It's just something I like. The heel is apparently a Dutch one, I've never done it before, so I hope it's comfy.

At this rate I may have to find another sock pattern to keep me entertained for the rest of the month  Wink

D'you know I love that! What wonderful colours, and I really like the Latvian Twist Edge. When I made the little bag for the Round Robin bag the picot edge took me AN HOUR Shocked

I think I might just do one of those one of these days!
