Yesterday I went to Dobbies and bought 5 packs of vegetable plants for £10, plus 3 tomato plants for the price of 2  Laughing  And of course I have a Dobbies card which gives me 10% off  Laughing   Anyway there was me thinking that I would be able to get my Pak Choi, beetroot and peas planted out in the garden with fleece protection at night and the lettuce and spring onions planted in the polytunnel but nooooooo it has been snowing on and off all day  Sad   still might get some stuff dne in the 'tunnel'  after tea  Very Happy

How's everyone elses veggie growing going, so far I have nothing planted out and not a lot is growing in the 'tunnel'  Rolling Eyes   Planning on re-glazing the greenhouse and gettin a heater in there, ready for next year  Laughing

Nothing planted as yet.

Have got the greenhouse up now on our allottment (spare land).  DH was out there over Easter weekend mad man.

DS2 can't wait to start planting, his tom's were doing really well till we were flooded last year.

looking forward to the veg.

Got some great wellies today for the garden pink with marshmallows on them, even better they went through the till at £5 instead of £11!

I'm not gardening this year, i am too worried that i'll put my back out again and we spend so many weekends away that i am also worried that it will run away from me again like last year... although they were exceptional circumstances! Shocked
Worrier? Me? Rolling Eyes

Nice bargain on the wellies Fi, i love it when that happens Very Happy

Well I planted my lettuces into a growbag, which I covered with a cloche and I interplanted with spring onions only to discover later when replanting the last ones that they were in fact leeks  Rolling Eyes  never mind will leave them to get bigger till they can safely go outside  Laughing   I filled a couple of planters with the pak choi and transplanted the beetroot into those cardboardy pots so that when the weather improves I can just plant the whole lot into their final beds  Very Happy  My pumpkins even look like they have got a bit bigger  Very Happy  So all seems to be ok in the polytunnel just now and I am hoping to get stuff planted into the garden next week  Very Happy

Quite envious of your hard work.

We have been stuck in cos its one of those damp showery days and the ground is too clarty to do anything.

We have our potatoes in....

The soft fruit trees are bearing up but we think we might loose our rhubarb.  Between showers we are preparing the next lot of ground for the peas and beans..

Took a walk down to the bottom of the paddock and the orchard it progressing.

All in all not too bad.  But will be pleased to see some continued sunshine!

I've got garlic and red cabbage in and chillies and tomatoes on the windowsill till it warms up a bit.

All the soft fruit bushes and perennial herbs look fine but the strawberries didn't survive.

Will sow the other herb seeds later this week.
