... decided the other night to order some pansies and things from Gardening Direct. I ordered the 150 Colourburst Pansy plugs, 120 pansy Cats Whiskers lt blue, 120 Pansy Padparadja (lovely orange colour), 120 Viola Avalanche yellow/pink, 60 Tarten Mix Stocks ready for planting and finally 10 Primula Denticulata mix I have decided that it is time I got my garden into some sort of order So I'm going to have an abundance of pansies and a few stocks while I consider whether to put some paths in or just plant more shrubs
Will be a while before I can post pictures of the garden but I will once it is looking better

I've just spent the day planting pansies Janice, and they do cheer the place up. I had neglected my little bit of patio area after the floods hit, and just couldn't face it. But MrP is on holiday so we bit the bullet and sorted the lot out today and it looks lovely. Quite a few different plants in tubs, with a lot of pansies along with some nice heathers. _________________

I spent most of yesterday putting pots together with spring bulbs (miniature daffs & tulips) with violas. However I ran out of violas & compost so will have another session on Sunday to use up all the bulbs. I've got some new metal hay baskets to go at the front of the house as my old plastic troughs looked too tatty for our new house & the violas look lovely in them. _________________ Cheers
