I have 4 tomato plants on my patio and the total yield so far is 10 small tomatoes
Its not just that they arent ripening - the flowers come out and then very little happens. I have hardly seen any bees this year - do you think that might be the problem?
Has anyone else got a tomato drought?

I've heard one or two other people bemoaning their poor tomato crop again this year
Still, my dad's apple tree is well laden, so things aren't all bad _________________

Yeah i agree Claire - ive got 7 standard toms & have had NIL fruits on them this year BUT brought a couple of bush toms & have had about 15 of them with loads more to come as they r covered in green toms at present.
But i dont know how this can be as both sets are in the back garden ??????
however our onion crop at the allotment is great _________________ Rosie

I have about 12/14 tomato plants in my polytunnel and I have quite a few tomatoes, I have already picked half dozen of the cherry ones and I see 2 of the larger ones are red This year I bought different varieties as last year I had hardly any
My dads' tomatoes are doing badly, again, his are in a greenhouse in Inverness. I think I must be lucky this year _________________ ravelry id : janice61

We have loads on the plants in the greenhouse but not many on the hanging basket ones.
Have dug up our first crop of pots today they look and smell fabulous, the spring onions are thickening too. _________________ Fi, The Beach Babe |

I've got a reasonable amount on my 10 plants which are a mixture of varieties with some in pots, troughs and hanging baskets but as it's my first year gardening I have nothing to compare them with. I've been picking half a dozen a day but now they are all on the turn I'm hoping for more!
