I just finished the first in this series of books. It is to come out in a film in Dec here in the UK. I couldn't put it down until I was finished!!!

Has anyone else read them? I ordered the next 3 immediately!!

My DD has these books and has read them more than once. She keeps telling me I should read them, but haven't got round to it yet. So many books on my 'to read' list, and it keeps getting longer  Very Happy

What age is your daughter?

I was amazed how this book enthralled me, I wasn't expecting it to. The next 3 are on their way! Smile

I've read all four - I couldn't put them down!

I have heard that the film is less thoughtful than the books and more action but I may have to go an watch it and make my own mind up!

I'm on a second read of "Twilight" now.

I was glad that I had a whole day free to read it or I woukd have gone without sleep to finish it. It is very sweet, uncomplicated and the theme of forbidden/thwarted love evident. The last book I read to hold me like that was The 7th Harry Potter. It is a quick read too Smile

I galloped through all 4 books in about a week  Shocked  I am a fast reader though.

I too have seen the trailer for the film and I'm still reserving judgement. I have to say I'm disappointed in the looks of the actors playing the vampires. They're not bad looking for humans but it's hard to get a human with unearthly beauty, I suppose (apart from me of course  ROFL  ROFL  ROFL  ROFL )

Rob is 'growing' on me Smile I liked him as Cedric Diggory and I can 'feel' the chemistry between him and the actress playing Bella in the trailers.

On your recommendation Gilraen I have just picked this book up in Tescos, I read the first page while I was standing in the book area and wanted to carry on as I walked round the shop Laughing   It looks good already - will let you know how I get on Very Happy
