They caused me much grief (the pattern had errors) - but I've learned loads! I've now mastered the magic cast on, and knitting two socks simultaneously on two circs toe up. They're also too small for me so they'll make a nice pressie for a pal who just turned 50.

nice socks! and well done for finishing despite the pattern errors etc, and for mastering new techniques Very Happy

Very pretty indeed! What's the yarn please? and the pattern ....?

OOps - the yarn is handpainted sockyarn from Fyberspates and the pattern is a free one from Judy Becker called Snake River Socks.

The faux cable is basically a lace stitch without the yarn overs...

Ooh... they're gorgeous!

Well done for doing two at once. I've tried that twice now, but despite following the advice and suggestions of others, just can't get the hang of keeping the yarns tidy.
