These are for my Uncle, knitted with 2.5mm circular in Opal Magic I think, definitely Opal anyway for a size 9 foot.
...whilst these are for my sister, again on a 2.5mm circular, Opal for a size 6. The pattern is the Slouch Socks from Socks Socks Socks, although I've knitted a plain foot as I like them that way
With these and Dad's out the way, I think I'm slightly calmer than this time last week. The socks have been everywhere with me, even a day trip to London on Friday. I've started another pair which hopefully will be finished by Christmas Eve, but along with those and a sleeve on a child's hoody still to play with, I'm not holding my breath. I even managed to bake 3 dozen mince pies over the weekend, but didn't get the chance to freeze any.
Something to do with having gannets (teenage boys and their dad) for a family.
Tracy

Thank you Do you know, I'm not sure if it is Neon as I bought 2 balls of sock yarn from a lady on Ebay a couple of years ago and this ball didn't have a band although she was listing it as Opal. It feels like Opal though, pretty colour combination anyway.
