First one done and cuff started on second one.

I'm using an old favourite Monkey pattern but only using pattern on the cuff so I can wear these in ankle boots or trainers Smile

The yarn is Louet Gems fingering in Pink Panther, and it is georgeous to knit with, buttery smooth and soft. Any joins in the yarn appear to be russian spliced for you already Very Happy

Really lovely Gilraen, I've done my pink october petticoats just on the leg too. Had to unpick the damn thing last night after I'd grafted the toe as I'd made the foot too short, concentrating on strictly and casualty and not my knitting. Doh!!

I love these socks : ) Are they suitable for those of us with 'shapely' ankles??? or are they snug?

Thanks, Claire UK

I'm a size 6 1/2 UK or american 8 wide feet (think barges) and very 'shapely' ankles and calves.

I find these very roomy for my size 6 but narrow fitting, they stretch to about 10cms diameter at the cuff. Would that accommodate your shapely ankles? Smile
