The very lovely Crafty Bernie sent me a special parcel this week and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to her for her generosity and thoughtfulness. Firstly, she sent one of her lovely socks bags which you shall have to wait until mid August to see as it will be part of one of the last charity auctions I hold for Charlotte's trek to Peru in aid of the Rainbow Trust. I have to say though that the bag is stunning and so well made. Whoever gets it will be very lucky indeed.

And included with the parcel, was a little gift for me and a lovely card after my recent traumas with the Police fiasco Rolling Eyes

I would like to introduce you to Penelope Pig who was handmade with love by the very talented Bernie! How cute is she?! The attention to detail is amazing - her little dress has popper fasteners on the back to take it off; she has a little curly tail; and there are some lovely embroidered details like a little heart on her chest and flower motifs on her forehead and bum Very Happy

I adore her and thank you so much Bernie - she is one of the bestest gifts ever Smile

She is sat next to my PC where she shall stay, bringing a smile to my face each day and reminding me of what wonderful friends I am lucky enough to have Smile

AH Bernie thank you so much for doing such a wonderful thing for our dear friend Piglottie! - Penelope is gorgeous (though I find myself wanting to see a photo of her curly tail - am I rude??!)
