We went to see this film on an advance screening last night and loved it. Such an enchanting film, and really funny too. The story is from the Neil Gaiman book. Robert de Niro is brilliant in it, as is Michelle Pheiffer (or however you spell it) and she did something to Ricky Gervais that I have wanted to do forever Wink Laughing It was doubly special as we were in the screen that used to be the posh bar place and the seats are huge with special little footrests, really spread out so not many people in there, and its got all lovely lighting etc. Wonderful!

I've heard lots of good things about this film, although mostly from Jonathon Ross who may be a little biased given that his wife wrote the screenplay Very Happy

Sounds like a wonderful evening, we had the comfy seats in the cinema at Bluewater once, courtesy of Bloke's brother who helped build it Smile

It's been out here quite a while, it is lovely.

Robert de Niro is priceless.

My challenge, which I have already put to carolinne, is to work out which one is David Walliams - I still don't know for sure. I didn't even realise he was in it until afterwards so I didn't know to look out for him at the time.

I love the scene where prince Septimus is going to attack captain's ship and warns his men "Beware of Captain Shakespeare, he has a fearful reputation.."

Now you know why I was asking you exactly how "lovely" Captain Shakespeare was in the book, carolinne.

Yes please say who David Walliams was
