These are from Knitty. Spring Forward Socks. The pattern is lovely, the pattern very easy to remember when knitting. These took 8 days, 5 of which I was working full-time.

They are knitted in Handmaiden Casbah: Rose Garden. A really wonderful yarn! It is the first yarn I have used with nylon in it that didn't feel like I was knitting with wire. I guess the cashmere content off sets the nylon effect?? Any way I absolutely love the yarn. I used 2.5mm needles and the socks are size 6 UK Smile

Aren't those lovely Very Happy I printed the pattern off when Knitty came out, but was slightly confused by the chart which appeared to be telling you to do the same each time  Confused so I wasn't sure how the swirls would happen - unless I am a numpty, which is probably what it is.

Embarassed Thanks Franney.

Joy as you knit the decreases in the holes shift sideways so you end up with a slant of YO/ holes IYSWIM. It is as easy to remember, if not easier, as the Monkey chart! Smile
