This is the other pair of size 10 men's socks requested by my mum so she can put them away for Christmas. Now I can knit something for me!
The yarn was given to me back in my blogging days as part of a swap, very colourful but something the new owner likes anyway so no worries in choosing this from my stash. I started the yarn off in exactly the same place for both balls, but it became clear as I approached the heel, the bands of colour were becoming shorter. By the time I'd turned the heel it was completely out and I ended with a yellow toe instead of blue. It wasn't my tension, just one of those things. I'm not unduly bothered though as they still sort of match.
Magic Loop, 2.5mm circular using Fortissima Colori Socks Color in shade 9069
I'm very, very pleased with being able to fit in 6 pairs of mens socks this month. It's made a very small dent in my sock stash, but if I were to keep this up, I may just use my entire supply by this time next year

Thanks, I'm pretty relieved that June is done with, I knew it would be a hectic month but as per usual things were left later than they should have been
As for my sock yarn stash, I ummmm had a little count up of just how many pairs I could make up with what I had upstairs in the wardrobe known as Narnia. Let's just say my feet could have fresh pair everyday for at least 2 months without needing to do any washing (hangs head in shame) Ok I admit it.....my name is Woollywarbler and I have a little habit. But, but, but...I was told sock yarn doesn't count as stash.....does it?????

Love em, have you managed to do anything else?
I was sat here moaning a bit ago that I have not touched my needles yet this week as life is mad at the mo.
We have an Ofsted inspection tomorrow and its crazy. _________________ Fi, The Beach Babe |

Wicked colour!
I wonder why the colours didn't work out right, you'd have thought that with all this computer wizardr that they'd be able to make the colour repeats the same _________________

I had a message from a friend on Ravelry who has exactly the same yarn and has found that hers has been wound back to front so that the colours are coming out in reverse order for her second sock. There's gremlins afoot at Fortissima
