Apols of there is discussion elsewhere on here - but has anyone tried Sirdar Calico and if so what is it like?

Ordered a couple of patterns for it - should really knit from stash but tempted to try it  Wink

I haven't tried it, but last year people were saying that  they had to buy extra balls of yarn compared with what was quoted in the Calico pattern book. I'm not sure if it was a yardage issue or a problem with the numbers printed in the book.

I think there's a thread from last year cazzie!! It's here . I like it - it's very like Sirdar Breeze, lovely colours and very soft. Cheapish too. Goes a long way but as Glynis says you might need a ball more than the pattern says for some reason. The patterns for it are nice!!!
