This is my first attempt at a picot edge and I really like it I wanted to knit a simple pair of stocking stitch socks with this yarn as I think it shows it off better, but thought a nice edge would spice them up a bit. They are my Bond socks, because I cast on and re-did the picot edge 3 times to try and get the right size (still not 100% happy). Each time I cast on, one of the Bond films was showing on TV - so the successful pair were Die Another Day Knitted on 3.25mm bamboo dpns using Sweet Georgia Speed Demon in River.
I was hoping to get more than one pair knitted this month but its just been too busy, and I shall be lucky if I get this pair finished.

I like the picot edge too. I also like the colour, it's like mint chocolate chip ice cream! _________________

Lovely colour, just like mint choc chip icecream (didn't someone already say that?)
I like a picot edge on a plain knitted sock, it gives it a bit of interest. _________________

Looking good! The picots are lovely.
Thanks for the link; have to try that technique for myself. _________________ My Blog: Put a Sock in it |
