Well then! Got you going though eh? Very Happy
First i made a yummy yarn cake...

Then i swatched... Wink

Then i cast on and got knitting and so far i have 6 rows of 2x2 ribbing and 1½ pattern repeats Smile

Me likey!! Very Happy
The pattern is a nice symmetrical one, i have the pattern in my lap to remind me at the start of the round and by the second half of the round i know what i am doing Very Happy
I've gone back to one sock, two circs for this one for some reason and it's flying along Smile

Laughing Yep, half a sock wide and one repeat high, just so i could make sure the circs would be OK cos i knit so loosely with them compared to dpns.

Thanks FatCat, i think it's looking great too and i really like the pattern too Smile

I'm not sure what heel i am going to do, i don't really need the reinforcement of a heel flap cos i only ever wear crocs now, i'm thinking i might do the forethought heel from SKS... does anyone helse have a favurite they think i should try?

That looks like the start of a stunning sock to me, I love the Monkey pattern, just not brave enough to try it
