I'm just checking on a couple of people that had said they were going to enter but haven't posted times, but as of today the results stand as follows:
1st with an awesome improvement of 22 mins Craftylady
2nd - showing that stubborness (sp?!) wins the day - Grannysmith.
3rd - somewhat embarassingly - me!
Fastest walker - Binty.
So today I will be putting £50 on craftylady's sponsor page..... and sorting out a gift voucher for her. Terri will sort out with Jacky about her prize.
I have also arranged with Gilraen that the third prize - which was a skein or yarn from her luscious stash, will be auctioned for cancer research, so Gilraen will choose a skein and we'll get that underway - keep your eyes open it should be a good one!

Congratulations everyone!! I was going to let the winner choose a skein but since this is for auction I picked something else.
This is the prize yarn.

Well done everyone
Ali - do you have a preference for colours for your FCS or would you like a surprise?
You know I still have my Race to do don't forget. I won't affect the results as we all know, but nevertheless perhaps this could have waited until after Wednesday. I did post on your other thread to say my Race wasn't until July 2nd Noo, and I may only be walking but I am still taking part in what will be my fourth Race. I feel a bit superfluous to requirements at the moment _________________

Oh Joy I'm so sorry I really didn't mean to do that (on bended knee begging forgiveness) I was just so aware of people's pages stopping taking sponsors not long after their races and didn't want anyone not to get their sponsorship.
We'll all be routing for you on Weds (is it in the evening?) *three cheers for Joy* *waving pom-poms*
Maybe next year we could combine a forum weekend away with a RFL? - that would be fun! _________________ Claire

All of which just goes to show one should never jump to conclusions for which I am very sorry Claire. Put it down to a bad night's sleep and a VERY long journey home from Cockermouth today via MIL and the Nursing Home in Chasetown.
My "Walk" is at 7:30 and I will need at least two days to recover.
