|
|
I didnt manage to finish my socks in September but am hoping to finish two pairs this month
This is my Sweet Georgia pair that I started last month, but I'm not really feeling the love for them. I have struggled to get the gauge right. They fit fine, but the stitches gape slightly when they are on which I dont like. When I swatched, I noticed this so increased the stitch count but then they were too big, so then I tried larger pins and I didn't like the way they knitted up. I shall finish them as it wont take much.
I have started another pair as they are for my mum's birthday which is on 26 October. I'm knitting her a pair of the Modified Cowgirl Slipper socks in Skein Queen Plushness, shade Foxglove which is gorgeous. I'm enjoying these much more

I especially like the colour of the green ones, but then I am also partial to a pink/mauve combination. |

ooo, yummy, especially the pink/purple ones. I have some posh eva in a very similar colour, so I may have to use that for the cowgirl ones now. _________________ Ravelry ID ~ ChristinaJL |
