........ and it feels great  Very Happy

I said on here recently that I needed to get out of my comfort zone as far as knitting was concerned. I also rather foolishly signed up for the sock swap, so I thought I had better get in a bit of practice.

Now, these may not look terribly exciting, but I am so inordinately proud of myself I could burst! I have not so much as looked at a set of dpns for some thirteen months - I've knitted LOADS of sock yarn I grant you, but no socks.

These are basic Regia socks, knitted on ordinary little bamboo dpns, Prym, I think, using Fyberspates sock yarn, colourway Pinks and Purples. It was a birthday present last year from the lovely terri.

I started them on the train to Paddington a week ago. They have been knitted on St Pancras Station ( where I had some odd looks and one comment ) Eurostar ( both ways ) and various coaches in France and Belgium.

I might just have to cast on again soon...........

eh?

*looks around wildly for a FCS*

Hang on, this IS Joy's post ... isn't it?

*goes off to check*

But it's got socks in it, this can't be right.  Unless ... no, it can't be, surely Joy hasn't made socks .. Oh my word, she has!  Shocked

*faints*   Wink  Laughing  Laughing

Joy, those are beautiful socks!  No wonder you're grinning, they're fabulous
