Got a spindle this week fron n and here is the result of my first spinning.
The fibre was part of the hipknits project club, it was intended to make felted beads. I'm hooked, now going to try to get thinner more even yarn.

That looks good! I have just discovered a Guild of West Surrey Spinners Dyers and Weavers, so I think I might go along one evening and see if I can learn with some help.
I was at a show yesterday where they had a stall - one of them had an Ashford wheel for sale with bobbins and basket for £110, I don't know how I stopped myself... _________________

That sounds a bargain! I don't think I would have been so restrained...
I've recently joined our local Spinners Weavers and Dyers group.
I think someone is demonstrating a charka tonight, which will be interesting.
