Well actually these were supposed to be my February socks but didn't finish them till March.
These are my finest moment yet. After knitting 3 pairs of socks I have finally made a pair I am proud of. No holes and my picking up stitches is great. They were made for DH at his request. Sorry they are a bit stretched but they were for his birthday yesterday and he just had to wear them.

Thanks. I used SKS for DH's socks. I think doing the garter edge on the heel really helps and gives me a much neater finish. I don't need to feel embarassed about giving my socks away anymore.
Although I think i'll stick to knitting for smaller feet. _________________ Kate

Nice socks I've done a couple with the garter stitch edge and you're right - they come out really neat. _________________ Sharon |

They are lovely Kate. How do people manage to knit more than 1 pair a month? I'll have to have a word with DH as I must be working too much!! _________________
