Its an Ashford rigid heddle one - 40 cms size. I just won it on eBay and it hasnt even been used. It was £61 inc postage.
I now need to know if it is worth me spending the money I saved on a new one. I'm thinking of a second heddle kit. Has anyone got one/ used one/ any opinions on one??? And/or an other size heddles? It comes with a 10 dent one.
I'm a very happy bunny now

I've got an Ashford rigid heddle loom too, for shame I haven't actually used it yet but I intend to remedy that this summer! I ordered a second reed to go with it, for some flexibility as to the weight of yarns you can warp it up with. Not got a second heddle but it may well be worth getting one. I was recommended the Weavecast podcast too when I first got mine, and I got the Ashford book of rigid heddle weaving which is a lot clearer to read than the printed instructions that come with the kit. It also has plenty of projects to make too. _________________

Ooh lucky girl Claire!
If I could have 28 hour days I'd like to try spinning and weaving.
On the other hand, if I had 28 hour days some so-and-so would come along and give me a job to fill the time |

Ooooo lucky you! They look really nice - the sort of thing that you wouldn't mind leaving out on show in between weaving. So, will we be seeing lots of activity in the weaving section of the forum???
I've got a really posh loom too (well, not posh but it does the job). It's the brio wooden loom and almost looks like a 'real' one! Got it for Katie & me at Christmas but she doesn't have the patience for it!
