Today we (me, DD and DS) attacked the garden
With all the work that Ive been doing NOTHING has been done in the garden really this year (and of course the weather hasnt helped) so today I took to my postage stamp at 10am this morning and only stopped at 5pm.
I have dug out all the beds emptied all the pots and done the horrid hedge which is 8 foot tall and 14 tree's long

oh boy you'll be sore tomorrow! - Bet it looks fab though. - Think you'll need a warm bath with some lavender oil, and a glass of wine (pref in the bath!!!) (well not in the water you understand - in your hand while you are in the bath!!) _________________ Claire

Oooooh, you will be sore but i bet the feeling of satisfaction will help ease the pain away... along with the glass of wine, the candles, the hot bath and the chocolates _________________

not much
I think the most painful bit is my chest and I think that is from using the long handled clipper things and holding them up above my head doing the hedge
Im quite pleased is a bit damp this morning as I need to get out there and finish off.
I might take the little ones to the DIY shop and get some plants _________________ Ali

Glad you can get to the computer today. I think it's a good idea to be kind to yourself today and just look at your hard work and as you say perhaps do some gentle re-potting etc. And don't forget some knitting _________________

Do you know I havent knitted for days and at the moment my hands feel too bruised to pick the needles up - you know the bit under your thumb, again I think its from the long clipper things _________________ Ali

My front garden looks a bit well er in need of attention If it isn't raining it is then too sunny, which means I can't go out unless I want to end up with large red very hot very itchy patches on my bod Remind me again why I wanted a house with a large garden _________________ ravelry id : janice61

Cos the flowers atre lovely to look at Janice. Who ever mentioned that they need tending? That's what rich people who can afford big gardens do.
