Yesterday i spent only two hours in the garden digging up grass that had invaded the rose bed and clearing away all the bits I had pruned off the rose bushes and today I can hardly move. The backs of my legs are killing me from all the bending and I've done something to my left wrist so it really hurts when I drive or do anything that involves pulling or twisting. I haven't even tried knitting with it yet, but hopefully that may be OK.
I was hoping to get back out there again today, but I think I had better leave it for a little while

Be careful with your wrist if it is hurting A few months ago my wrist starting hurting, but I continued knitting my dads' socks until it got really painful It was so bad the following day that my dad ran me to the local A&E to get it checked out (I think I jarred it when a moran braked in front of me). Nothing broken but they gave me a sling and said to rest it. I couldn't even cut up my own dinner and I had to use a fork with my left hand I had to stay at my ma&pas' for an extra day and even then by the time I drove home it was aching _________________ ravelry id : janice61

I agree, take it gently Jacquie. It's very easy to add another injury on top of feeling the way you do. Be kind to yourself.
BTW any pics from DC? _________________ " Onen i-Estel Edain, U-chebin estel anim"

I will definitely be taking it easier today - thanks for the advice.
There are a few pictures of DC on my blog. We are not great ones for doing shots of us standing by famous things though I am afraid. _________________ Jacquie

It looks lovely, but not as lovely as it feels
What are your plans for it? _________________ " Onen i-Estel Edain, U-chebin estel anim"

It will be one of my Sock-a-Month projects but haven't even thought about what pattern yet! They only had one skein of the colourway i really wanted so this was really my second choice, but I do like it a lot too! _________________ Jacquie

What was your first choice? If you don't mind me asking? _________________ " Onen i-Estel Edain, U-chebin estel anim"

I didn't look at the label at the time but looking at the website http://www.claudiaco.com/ I am pretty sure it was Blue Terra Cotta - a lot brighter than the one I ended up with. I am sorely tempted to order some of that as well!
