Just wondering what others would do.
I have a bunch of moss stitch squares to join together to make a blankie and wondered what the best way would be. They are different colours btw so mattress stitch looks a bit untidy on the back with the sewing yarn showing on the other colour square.
I am currently sort of oversewing them together being careful to only catch part of the edge stitch so it is fairly invisible on the front, and lays reasonably flat.
Any other suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks

An elderly friend of mine has her blanket squares crocheted together by someone she knows. I've never tried it myself, but the finished blankets always look nice. _________________

I oversew everything together as I haven't learnt mattress stitch.
You could always oversew in a contrast thread and make a feature of it. |

I'd be tempted to go with a contrast and just whipstitch it I think.
