I eventually completed the pair of beige ribby socks *yawn* for little Dan, being modelled here by the man himself:

as soon as I said they were finished they were on his little size 10 feet. Little scallywag that he is Laughing

I only used one 50g ball of sock yarn and there's still some left! It's washed up to be nice and soft and snuggly as well.
