Knitted in about two days in Yarn Yard October Club yarn, my very first BSJ
I'm quite pleased with how it came out, although now i know the construction i will be changing the stripe placement and omitting the extra ten ridge length

Well, i worked on it exclusively, normally i'd be doing several things all at once, but i kinda like this new regime _________________

that is lovely Franney and your before and after pictures are good too - I can kinda see how it works. Did you find the instructions hard to follow? I have the pattern too, but I have only glanced at it really - must try one of these |

Thankyou ladies
Jo, nope, i found it really quite easy to follow once i stopped reading ahead and trying to work out what i was actually doing
Seriously, you have to just knit it and hope for the best, i found the numbers list that someone posted helped a great deal with keeping me on track and i had the pattern, the numbers and a page of notes all pinned to a corkboard. My main problem was my inability to count and i found myself having to count back across the plain knit row every time to make sure i had the right amount on the needle
I have to find an easier way of keeping track of the middle stitch of the decreases and increases, i kept forgetting to move my marker and when it was attached to the stitch itself i would just forget to move it up and the forget the decrease
It's more errors with me than the pattern to be honest, although i did find it a little sparse on information but then i believe EZ is a bit like that anyway isn't she?
Sorry for the waffling on by the way! I hope yuou can make some sense of it!! _________________
