I'm really feeling a need to have a go at some stripey crochet mitts - there are a few around in blog land at the mo:

Just got to sort out some pretty yarn Very Happy

Alternatively I should just get off the PC and do some housework!   Laughing

Maybe just a little  Embarassed  Laughing

I may cast on some knitted ones - not confident to have a go at crochet ones without a firm pattern

Cazzie you don't need a pattern...all you do is crochet a square/rectangle and fold it in half, sew it up leaving a gap for your thumb and then just do a round of dc to neaten the thumbhole.

You could also use a granny rectangle for a funky look....just put the seam on the palm side if you wanted and stick your thumb through a hole lol

if you didn't want to do any sewing, you can also join your chain and work in rounds till thumb and then work back and forth before joining in the round again...

Sorry for hijacking Laughing

Have got one and a half fingerless mitts knitted in stripes - but now put off by the number of ends that need sewing in - far too many - moved to naughty corner  Shocked  Crying or Very sad
