I have finally started my socks for the challenge. I am knitting Monkey in Lorna's Laces Get Knitted colour.
I have no pictures yet as I have only done 3 rounds. I was getting quite frustrated with them last night as I knitted the rib only to find I had cast on 4 stitches too many, frogged them, cast on again only to realise I was knitting with the end of the yarn so it is hopefully third time lucky.

Look forward to seeing your progess, have been looking at the pattern and am tempted to give it a go for next month, not sure if it's to complicated for a sock novice

Cookie is a great designer, she also made Pomatomus. Her designs are not for the faint hearted though. Can't wait to see your socks Malteser. Third time lucky? |
