no, seriously, I had a dream - very vivid, about all sorts of stuff. But in this dream I was knitting a lacy sock in a pink and turquoise yarn, and even when I woke up I could still see the yarn really clearly. Cut to a week later when I was rooting through my stash for something and there it was! The yarn from my dream! (yes I know, having so much sock yarn I can't remember what's in there can't really be a good thing, but I'm liking the surprise element ... ) So, being the superstitious type I thought I'd better act on this dream and so I cast on. Nearly at the end of the first sock now:
and a rather blurry close-up for good measure
The pattern is that old favourite Hedera , and the yarn of dreams is Cherry Tree Hill Potluck Supersock in Water
