I am looking for something more practical,cheaper and nice to knit with
to make my 5 year old dd a hooded scarf for the winter.
She is still into pinky colours too!

Stylecraft Life Chunky might be a good sub - easy to care for and lovely and soft too. Also maybe Sirdar Denim Chunky (there's a deepish pink in that) and Sirdar Click Chunky?
