Oh my god today is the 7th March and I haven't even cast on for this months socks yet.
I've read and re-read the pattern, fondled and better fondled the yarn, sniffed it and caressed it. The pattern is Rolling Thunder from Knitty

and to be truthful the beads are scaring the hell out of me.

I aim to get them on the needles this weekend but with DD1's birthday on Saturday (she's coming home from uni on Friday and going away again on Sunday) I'm hoping there will be some progress. Please send me good vibes to spur me on.

Fat Cat, I didn't deviate from the pattern at all it is Lornas Laces Gold Hill. Took an age to get hold of, GK didn't have it, Stash did but don't do either an online or a mail order service so ordered it from the states. It was out of stock but was expected in about 2 weeks, a month later they had just got it in and wondered did I still want it? Told them to send it pronto and then they had misread the inventory and it wasn't in stock at all. So promptly cancelled the order and got in touch with GK again and they had it so I snaffled it up.
