cut my potatoes into chunks like wedges after washing them (leave the skin on) into a huge bowl with a very small amount of vegetable oil and some salt, black pepper and chilli flakes.  Mix it well and place on a baking tray in a hot oven for about half an hour or until lovely and golden.  Scrummy.

I make the Slimming World version which are very low fat & VERY nice.

Peel the potatoes, cut into chips (I like thick chunky chips) par boil & shake in the pan after draining the water until fluffy.

Using Frylight (1 calories per spray) add 3 or 4 squirts to a flat baking tray, spread the chips out, a couple of squirts of Frylight again & bake in the oven on about 200c for approx 25 mins until they start to go golden brown. Half way through cooking turn them over & add another couple of squirts of Frylight.

DH prefers these to oven chips & we have them a couple of times as week as they fit in very well with my diet.

I cut my (unpeeled) potatoes into wedges or fat chips, depending on my mood, and arrange them on a baking try previously sprayed with fry-light then cook for 20-25 mins in a hot oven. Sometimes I shake a bit of paprika or chilli powder over the top, they're nice that way as well.

We love sweet potato fries.  I peel them and cut them into wedges and spray with PAM olive oil flavour non-fat spray and put them in a hot oven for about 20 mins, turning them over half way.  Make a nice change and they are lower on the glycaemic index than regular potatoes.

I do roughly the same as CraftyLady.   Wash potatoes, cut into wedges (with skins on), place in a bowl, add a tablespoon of olive oil, salt and pepper, and sometimes a dash of garlic powder, put on a baking tray and bake in a hot oven for about 45mins.  Delicious!

Well you know, this is what I do for potato wedges too!

I might have to invest in a deep fat fryer again as oven chips are just plain yucky to me....  Confused

we do oven chips...kids like them but they aren't my cup of tea...so I have chips (proper chips, deep fried) every now and then as a treat...I won't eat fried chips all the time but I won't eat oven chips. So for me...the wait makes them even more delicious lol
