I'm a noob crochet-er... I did go the course at Aileen's in Stockport with Murdo and she went on to do great things, err, unlike me  Embarassed

I can do a chain and I can do all the stitches but it doesn't seem right to me somehow and I prefer knitting....

BUT!!

I saw this on Rav and I really love it!

Chevron lace cardie

So, all you seasoned crochet-ers out there! Do you think I'd stand even a *small* chance of doing it if I put my mind to it? I'd be prepared to have a bash at least??

Well I can't even manage a simple link!! I'll edit the first post so it's clickable  Wink

Oooh a CAL sounds good but I'm likely to be WAY slow!! But I could do with the encouragement, so it sounds like a fab idea!

Link edited!  Wink

I will edit the title of this thread to reflect the CAL and then we can keep all the info in on place.

Consider this the start then, ladies and gents!

the biggest problem I have is that my tension is a lot looser with crochet, might have to use 4 ply not DK. I have 4 balls of mexican wave that I might use for this, I was thinking of making sambuca with it anyway.
