.... but I managed to delete the Central Park Hoodie Knitalong thread accidentally
I left a shadow thread on the Knit and Knatter forum, and when I deleted it, the Knitalong one went too. So now we have no record left whatsoever of the thread, unless Jacquie has done a backup and some of it can be restored??? *hoping that she has*
I'm so, so sorry about this everyone. I'm a total **** and I apologise unreservedly.
Please don't hate me all at once.....

I was just wondering where that has gone... I was going back to look at the tension to decide what yarn I could use...
Never mind. I don't mind and i'm sure others won't _________________ Kate

never mind, shall I type it all out again.
interweave press - special issue knitscene - fall 2006
sizes - 32, 36, 40, 44, 48"
takhi yarns donegal tweed, 100% wool, 183 yds/ 167m to 110g
6, 7, 8, 9, 10 skeins
gauge - 17sts and 24 rows = 4" on 5mm needles
I'm doing the 44" size, despite being only normally 34". but I want a loose over jacket type thingy.
Did some of this earlier, and the cabling seems really easy. Only a 10 row repeat pattern on 3 charts, 2 of 10sts and 1 of 18sts. _________________ Ravelry ID ~ ChristinaJL |

I'm a bit sleep deprived myself.
Have you decided which yarn to use for yours'? _________________ Ravelry ID ~ ChristinaJL |

Um, no not yet... I've been trying to get the deleted thread back for about half an hour!!! Maybe some Jaeger aran, but ASC seems to fit the bill quite nicely as far as tension goes. But I'd have to buy that 17sts is a funny tension for aran isn't it?
i'm off for a bit now CJ. I'm supposed to be going out this evening, so I've got to shorten a pair of trousers before I go!!
See you soon!!

I just ignored the 17sts bit and am using DB aran tweed which is 18sts on 5mm needles. hope it doesn't matter.

I'm going to do a bit more tonight when I have put the kids to bed. Then I can put up a progress photo, but need to do a few more cable repeats to make it worthy of viewing!!
Am loving the colours of the DB though. _________________ Ravelry ID ~ ChristinaJL |

It wasn't in the KAL section - had somebody started it while I was at work then?
